About Us

The Downtown Gallery is Sol Creatives and Downtown Hotel & Business Center‘s joint project to transform the concept of art curation in Sudan.

With a wall that fits up to 18 pieces of art work and an art store attached, this small space is designed to make the visiter live the experience.

About Sol Creatives:

Sol Creatives is a talent sourcing entity and an agency for creative productions and is a project of Sol for Change.

It works with plastic artists, graphic designers, interior designers, photographer and media freelancers in a contract base to represent and market their productions. Thus, allowing the artis/creatives to reach more audience and work with cooperates.

About Downtown Hotel & Business Center:

In the forth floor of this ‘almost’ historical hotel, lies a co-working space for young freelancers and start-ups.

Using a blue ocean strategy or in other words a cooperative approach to business; the center beilieves that through a joint space filled with talented and hard working individuals, great ideas can discovered.

Azza is the name of the first women to ever march for civil rights in Sudan and has been a name used as a war cry for protests.
Almogera is a student of the faculty of arts who portrays the diversity of the Azza’s sudan has witnessed in its multiple revolutions.
An in depth view of the diversity in ethnicity, ideology and in generations of women nurtured by the soil of Sudan.
Sol Creatives in Cooperation with Downtown Hotel & Business Centre is happy to host Almogera in the opening night of Sudan’s newest Art gallery.

Curated by Rahiem Shaddad and Nicole Malmadè this is a transformation to the concept of art curation in Sudan.
